This project brings back the lively scene of New World Amusement Park in the 1960s, where people flocked to see the legendary comedic duo Wang Sha and Ye Feng's getai performances. Part of the Singapore Chinese Culture Center's effort to preserve and celebrate local heritage, it offers an immersive experience that captures the nostalgia that made Wang Sha and Ye Feng beloved icons in Singapore’s entertainment history.
Experimenting with Babylon.js and WebXR to build an immersive 3D experience. Setting up the web server on Linode with Nginx has been a learning curve, but it's exciting to create a space where people can explore digital art in a VR format.
