Produced over 10 months with teams across the globe, Evolve takes viewers on a thrilling journey filled with adventure, wildlife, and stunning locations, all while delving into the emerging science of biomimicry. The series asks whether nature’s unique adaptations can inspire futuristic solutions to some of humanity’s greatest challenges, combining breathtaking cinematography with mind-expanding science.
Challenge
Our challenge was to visualize complex scientific topics while maintaining audience engagement through immersive storytelling and visuals. Additionally, we had to coordinate remotely with filming crews worldwide, often with limited information about the locations.
Solution
We revamped our production pipeline to handle the lengthy schedule, adopting AGILE methodology to streamline workflows and manage the large scope of the project. A detailed documentation system, including storyboards, keyframes, and filming guides, was developed to ensure smooth communication and consistency across teams. This clear and structured approach enabled us to keep the production on track while maintaining high creative standards.
